New cleaning method! Blackberries, freshly picked, slowly boiled in saucepan. Stained saucepan. Filled saucepan with hot water, added one scoop of vanish, left to soak. Hey presto one very clean saucepan. See before and after photos. Brilliant. I have used these saucepans everyday for over 20 years.

Wash with shampoo (any will do -including very cheap ones) - then scoop of Vanish in the machine and stain will completely go.

If in doubt, take the Vanish product of your choice and soak the stained material in warm water with a scoop of Vanish dissolved in it. Leave to soak for a few minutes or hours (6 hours seems maximal), then put a scoop of vanish in the washing machine with stained material. It should come out looking as good as new!

Well this is not one you hear every day vanish helped with successfully remove red lipstick from a white ostrich feather large fan. I soak the feather with the stain in a bowl for 45 minutes and then preened the fans feathers with a hairdryer for 25 minutes and the pair of fans now look like new again :)

I am a dressage rider who uses white protective boots on my horses during training. So I use vanish on these boots to restore them to their as-new whiteness. I rub some of the vanish powder and warm water onto the stains and then leave the boots to soak in a mix of vanish and warm water for 30mins, then into the washing machine on a spin cycle and hey-presto! Good as new! Also, vanish is so gentle that once I have washed the boots and then put them back on my horse's legs, even my most sensitive horses do not have a reaction to the product - an absolute bonus. I look Vanish!

Recently my baby has started eating food in her highchair and the white straps on it look a little worse for wear covered in food stains so I disconnected them and put them in a bowl with hot water and vanish and after 20 minutes of soaking they're like new again!
